HOW LONG IS A DOG WALK?

The length of a walk will depend on your dog and what we have arranged. We can walk your dog from 30 minutes up to 2 hours. The duration is up to the owner that is decided during our first meeting. If your dog is very active they can be walked at least twice during the day if you wish.

WHERE IS WOODLAND WALKERS BASED?

We are based in Hatfield and serve the surrounding areas.

WHERE ARE YOUR DOGS WALKED?

We walk your dog in any of the local parks or woods in Hertforshdire and surrounding areas. We can keep to the same walk as you do with your dog if you prefer subject to availability and cost.

e.g. Oakmere park, Parkfield Open Space, Gobians Wood, Brookmans Park fields etc.

KEYS AND ALARMS

We have a lot of experience with working and entering homes with alarm and cctv systems. We take our responsibility very seriously when it comes to locking up and securing people homes after walking their dogs. 

WILL MY DOG BE WALKED WITH OTHER DOGS?

No more than 4 dogs are walked at any one time, we wish to give maximum attention to each pet we look after. Some dogs may be walked on their own and others may be walked in a group, this will be discussed during a consultation. All pets are always kept on their leads, unless other arrangements have been discussed with the owners and agreed in writing prior to the walk.

We do not walk pets that have to wear a muzzle due to aggressive behaviour towards other dogs. Female dogs in season will be walked alone – so please let us know if your dog is in season.

ARE WOODLAND WALKERS FULLY INSURED  ?

We are fully insured, CRB checked and City & Guilds Level 3 qualified.  Our credentials are emailed to our customers during our first email correspondence, tyically when you book a service with us for the first time.
